I'm fine with American Eagle ammo. Buy a good bit of it, shoot a good bit of it. I'll have to check up on the rebate. Thanks for the heads up on it.

Me too. Basically $50 free since I personally would have purchased $200 worth during the rebate period.
It is a rebate, so you have to wait weeks to receive a check . . . but then, when the check comes in, more $ for ammo

I submitted my Fed Am Eagle rebate today (dropped in mail after completing online form). I'm seeing this now as a check race between ammo rebate today and Shield rebate submitted 5/26

Just ordered a case of .223, which will get me $50 back. I seem to recall that under some circumstances the rebate could go higher, up to $200.
Pretty good deal as I needed the ammo anyway.

I used the rebate for rounding out some handgun ammo. When I filed the online form - before mailing - I saw there were several rebates available. You may be eligible for more than $50 as there is a max $200 rebate going on for .223. Hope you get more than $50!
American Eagle - Federal Premium Promotions
(Should probably go without saying, but I have no relationship whatsoever with Federal or any other ammo manufacturers, gun manufacturers, websites selling anything firearm related, etc. -- I am a new member and have only posted in the Ammo forum about a Fed HST deal and this Fed Am Eagle rebate; but that's just because I use HST as SD/HD round and look for range ammo that has similar characteristics, so I see these deals )

AE is great ammo and the price is good too. For someone who does not hand load it's perfect, reliable and accurate. I use it for calibers that I don't reload for.

It's my favorite range ammo for my 40c, my Shield .45 and my FNX .45, so I just ordered a bunch. Thanks for the heads-up!

Oh - just a heads up! If anyone prefers to carry .45acp HARDBALL (230 grain FMJ) in their 1911's, the American Eagle has the highest velocities (890 fps) of any of the Big 3 Company's (830 - 850 fps) 230 gr. FMJ offerings. Just wanted you to be aware.
