Misc. 5.56 Ammo
My cousin and his wife went to an estate sale yesterday. The previous owner of the home had a very large firearm and ammo stash. My cousing bought several rifles and handguns. But, get this, a trunk of ammo was to go with his purchase.
He said he just kind of looked at the contents after opening the top but didn't go into detail. They had to load it with a pallet jack and crane hoist.
When he got home he started going through the ammo. There are several 1K round cases of 5.56 PRVI 62 gr. M855 green tip rounds, and 2 cases of 1K 5.56 NATO PMC X-TAC 62gr. green tip rounds. He knew that my son and I have a few AR-15's so he called me. He asked if I wanted them, FREE of charge, of course. I am supposed to pick them up this weekend.
Q?-Is this good ammo? I have shot green tip ammo before but not in the civilian world.

I have used the above ammo and had no problems with it.
Just one guy's opinion on the internet.

Good range ammo. Nothing that's going to give you amazing groups or have self defense properties but great training ammo

All shootable range ammo. as stated above. As an aside, all that ammo has a market value of about 30 cents a round. If he won't take any money, you should take him and his wife out to a nice place and buy them a nice (expensive) dinner. Your cousin sounds like a great guy!(Most of my relations want ME to give THEM stuff, not the other way around!)

GB, him and his wife are GREAT people! Being I am disabled and can't do certain things they are ALWAYS there helping me out.
Just recently, my wheel chair needed new brake hardware. Medicaire and Blue Cross (I'm on SSDI) does not cover the cost. I came home from a drs. appt. and right there in the middle of my living room is a brand new wheel chair, courtesy of my cousin and his wife! They stated the other one was getting "too old!"
I repay them by searching the interweb for items they need and order said items for them. They trust me enough that they even have given me their credit card numbers.
Brasky, do you want a pic of my new wheel chair as well?

Ok Bushy, let's start with a pic of me being disabled so you believe that. As I get more proof I will continue to post pics. Is that ok with you Brewsky?
In the pic below, you will see my leg is amputated BTK. That is a prosthesis on my stump propped up on my walker. To the right of the walker is my cane. You can't see the handle though, so you might not believe it's a cane. Should I take a pic of the whole cane?
The NEW wheel chair is at my g/f's house in her cake shop. When I go over there tomorrow evening to pick her up to bring her with me to my cousins house to get the ammo, I will take a pic of the wheel chair. I also have a NEW Rollator over there as well. Would you like a pic of that too?
Now Brisky, would you like to see a pic of my Medicare card, Blue Cross supplemental card, and a bank statement of my SSDI pay?
Please, just make a list of ALL the items that you would like to see and I will try to accommodate you the best way I can, Booksy.
