I was curious hornady still made zombie max bullets. Was it a one time release or will the come out again? Kind of random but will Halloween coming, it instantly reminded me of the bullets

I refuse to buy anything that uses "zombie" as a sales gimmick.

It's Hornady, so likely decent ammo, but wish they'd never done the silly Zombie marketing thing. Don't get me wrong, I like Zombies as well as the next guy, but they are fiction for entertainment purposes. Ammunition is real....

Don't laugh. Those little florecent green polymer thingys are like ZOMBIE KRYPTONITE!!! Puts them down in one shot, any hit = dead Zombie, not so with the red tippy things, and don't get me started about the pink tips, the Zombies just spit them.out at you and eat your brains!

My hunt ended after a convo with a guy who works at my range. I was silly to assume that they cost the same as regular hornady ammo. Up charged for a green "Thingy"... No thanks.
I thought it would be a silly thing to have in my ammo stock for laughs

Might be a fun novelty. Not something I'd want to have to explain after a DGU, though....

the ammo is no longer listed in there online catalog... but it is just the same as the red or pink stuff... but if you want to have some fun... google "zombies in the heartland"... Hornady sponsors a 3 gun in their hometown... Grand Island Nebraska... truly in the middle of America... come on out... looks like fun...

Fits right in with "Punisher" skull grips in the "no go zone" for defensive firearms.
