Smile Strange .40 Cartridge

Hi:
I was shown a .40 S&W round that I hadn't seen before.
1. nickeled case
2. coppered colored bullet that the nose had several spines
3. case base had "JAG" stamped on it

????

40 S&W | Jagemann Sporting Group

Sounds like a RIP bullet.

Owww! I bet they'd smart a bit... and could also double as counter-sinks for woodworkers.

Meh, I want all the weight to dump that energy as deep as possible, not a half dozen shallow wounds with a lighter core going deeper.

But it looks nasty and has good (well, fair) marketing.

the 40's look like they have a quality to be researched. if the round can put dents/ mushroom shapped in 1/2" steel plates @ 15 YDS., useing the 165 gr.Hydra Shoks, almost tearing off the 6" x 4" plates off the rod, it might be a bullet to researsch. the slots on the bullet might hold fuzz/ **** while loaded in the mag. my buddy carries 2 glocks, why i'm not sure, a 45 and a 40. 1 day he took them off hisself and put them loaded on the table for me to check out. i started to laugh so hard i almost knocked over the ice tea. unloaded the weapons, locked open the slides, mags. out. the triggers almost unseen, the bore looked like spider combs, the mags. full of lint/ ****. i told him the weapons would probably catch on fire if he shot them. i was still laughing. don't know why i related the event to our fine members here. everyone have a good week. take care . rich
