CCI 22 LR polymer coated bullets
Anybody shot any of this stuff? I hadn't seen it before today while looking around in Scheels. I Don't need any 22 lr ammo, but a box of 300 for $19 followed me home. It'll be fun to put some thru the 1022s and the 1522 to see how it shoots.

At Christmas of 2017 I got a box of 300 for each of my kids and grandkids when the were making it in red & green. Still have a couple of boxes, but never fired any of it. I see they are now making it in red, white & blue. Thinking of buying some of that.

I like coated bullets in my centerfires so I'll be giving these a try once I need to order more ammo. I just have to get rid of the 40K rounds I have now.

I've shot the Xmas stuff and it worked well in a S&W revolver and a Ruger 22/45. My preferred 22 ammo is CCI standard velocity and this stuff seemed just as good. The biggest difference is that it's high velocity rather than standard velocity.

Think I bought a box yesterday at Cabela's.
Got a new 617 revolver so I bought one of most that they had to try.

I picked up a box at a similar price at Cabela's last week. It is a July 4th special (red white & blue) in a flag theme box, loose pack, not the usual trays.
Guy had put it out, most was gone in the 30 minutes that passed. Got one just for conversation.

I have used the Green Tag ammo which seems to have some kind of waxy coating. Always worked well. Haven't tried the ammo you are talking about.

I saw some at Cabelas. It was HV, so I didn't get any.

Shoots the same as Mini Mags but keeps the gun much cleaner.
