22 WIN MAG 45 GRAIN, 1060 FPS

Has anyone besides me tried the "WINCHESTER SMALL GAME, PEST CONTROL & REDUCED NOISE 22 WIN MAG45 GRAIN, 1060 FPS SUBSONIC LEAD HOLLOW POINT" loads?

I originally found these for sale on Midway USA's web site, but Midway has since discontinued sale of this product. Fortunately, I found another supplier and ordered in a substantial quantity.

I recently tried these out in my "new to me" Model 651-1, and impressive is quite the understatement!

So far, my only experience is with paper targets. Anyone have anything to contribute? Thanks for any replies!

I've tried them with great results. Ordered a case of the sub-sonic by mistake thinking I was ordering the standard velocity stuff. The accuracy was no surprise, "Slowa is mo' betta."


I told a friend I had ordered a case of this stuff by mistake. He asked me to bring him a box of fifty. He ran it through a 10-22 Magnum fitted with a DEAD AIR can. All we could hear was a slight "POP" and the bolt moving out-of and back into battery. He bought all of the mistake order I had left.
