See my notes on Federal 9mm 147g. HST +P ammo...
...here... ANOTHER M&P 9 plus Federal HSTs expanded
I've now used these bullets in a .40M&P, a .45M&P (+P), and custom loaded in a Tanfoglio 10mm Auto. ALL of them performed excellently. The ONLY bullet I'd ever consider other than the HST, and only if I continued to reload (and I don't intend to do that), is the premium-priced Barnes all-copper TAC-XP that I loaded in my 357SIG.

I just switched to the standard pressure 9mm 147gr HST as my carry ammo. For years I relied on the Winchester Ranger T 147gr JHP and it was good ammo, but in my 6946 the Federal HST is even more accurate.
