I came across a few rounds of Remington .357 158 grain SWCs in my old MTM ammo box yesterday. I have not seen these around in while. All the major ammo companies used to make these but it seems now just Remington makes them.
I suppose they are pretty obsolete now, with hollow points being more approiate as a defensive round. I would think they would make a decent hunting round or a good round for woods carry.
Either way, I kind of like them for nostalgia's sake. They have wonderful old-school look to them that just seems to go with S&W blue revolvers and wood grips.
