Nevada has finally moved from the 90's down to the 70's
which makes for cooler barrels.

Will have to drag out the rifles and ammo and drive out to the rifle range
to enjoy some long range shooting again.

A nice change from pistol shooting, after all these months.

Just target loads this time.......
I did not draw a tag for any "Meat" this season but do have the option
of birds, if I want.

More ammo !!

It’s finally cooling down here in Indiana, too, though right now we’re still getting some 80-degree days and rain. It’s been an unusual year for us. Lots of rain. By now we usually have brown where grass was, but this year the grass has been green as can be straight through August, and it’s still green and growing.

But back to the rifles, yes, indeed! I just had two out last Friday and intend to take rifles to the range at least twice a week between now and the onslaught of unbearable Indiana winter.

I’ve always enjoyed shooting from the bench. I don’t have specialized benchrest rifles. Just enjoy shooting the stuff I have, and tinkering with handloads. Great entertainment!
