.35 S&W auto
Just purchased an old box of 9 m/m Styer (spelling?} ammo to display with my handgun. The old box was wrapped up when I got it but when I opened the box it was full of .35 S&W Auto cartridges. Are these worth anything?

Absolutely, as I understand... they are quite difficult to find.
The cartridges would have -MUCH- more value with their original box, but still have value for what they are. I wish I could help with an estimate, but it is out of my area of expertise except simply to say that I've read a number of discussions on this odd model of S&W that used this exact ammo.

If they are clean, I have paid $1-$1.50. If clean! Some will say more, but
the box kinda makes it, if clean.

How much did you pay for it?

I paid $130 for a unopened box including shipping.

The .35 S&W ammo is fairly uncommon. There weren't that many .35 S&W pistols made and apparently the ammo wasn't in high demand and was not widely distributed. I think most owners of the S&W .35 Auto pistols just used .32 ACP cartridges which work OK.
