A good buy on 9mm
I have bought from these people before and was very satisfied. The AMMUNITION STORE has a Labor Day special on some ammo.
9mm Blazer Brass 115 or 124 gr $152.99(1000)
147 gr $157.99(1000)
Wolf 115 gr Polymer Coated Steel Case $115.01(1000)
Also has some rifle ammo

How much is the freight cost? Freight can beat down a good price to not so good.
Does that Wolf polymer coated steel case perform well? I have shot 9mm plain steel Wolf before and they shot okay.
From what I see on Ammoseek those are very good prices. I checked and freight was $26.23 for the wolf 1000rnd.
Makes round cost .14 per round. That still is fairly cheap cost.
I checked Wally's and Academy and they both cost more.

You can check for estimated shipping costs in their ad. I have shot Blazer Brass and it was good. Never shot Wolf.

Shipping cost does make a difference. I just received a case of Geco 9mm 124 gr FMJ yesterday from sgammo. $159.80 + $16 shipping. They have Wolf steel 115 gr @ $129.80 + $16 shipping. Hard to beat sg most
of the time. Because of their high volume shipping they get reduced
charges from UPS resulting in savings for their customers.

I usually buy local and get good deals, without having to buy in bulk. Last week MagTech 9mm 115 gr @ $8/box ($160 + $11.20 tax = $171.20/1,000 rds.). This week Blazer Brass 115/124 gr. @ $8.50/box ($170 + $11.90 tax = $181.90/1,000 rds.). I usually buy 2-6 boxes at a time, just to keep a supply of factory ammo on hand. I'd never bought MagTech before, but it shoots very well in all my 9's. Normally, I buy 124 gr. as it shoots extremely well in all my 9's.

What kind of stores are you shopping at? Cabelas? Farm and Home?

I bought 1000 rounds of Wolf 9mm. Delivered total was $141.23. I can live with what I got these 1000 rounds for. For target paper punching Wolf works very well. Checking ammo seek best prices for the same ammo I got a very good price. $.14 per round rounded off is a good price.

The Dunham's Sports Store here locally runs 9mm ammo on sale/special every week. They have mid-week specials, weekend specials and have regular sale ads every week. Mag Tech now has 115 and 124 gr. Loads available for 2 boxes @ $16. This week, Blazer Brass 115/124 gr. 2 boxes @ $17. 22 ammo is always on sale, some as low as $.03/round. CCI MiniMags are on sale 2 100 count boxes @ $12. I buy something weekly, and the folks are always friendly and know me by name lol. :-)
