Browning 9mm Ammo
Has anyone used their 115gr fmj training and practice ammo. It says it is made in the US but I wonder who makes it. Is it any good?

Ok, I'll bite.
Does Winchester box the ammo or is it sent to Browning Arms, to be put into ammo boxes?

WW and Browning are owned by the same conglomerate. I am sure it is all boxed at the factory where it is made.

Actually, no! Olin Corporation still owns and manufactures the Winchester ammo. They also own the Winchester brand name, but have licensed it to Browning. I imagine that Browning, since they already have a licensing agreement with the Olin Corporation, probably got a good deal having Olin manufacture Browning ammo.

Looks like the same ammo Win makes for Cabela's...Different head stamp of course....oh different price too. BTW...who made Browning's ammo all those years ago. I still have a few boxes and some extra rounds of their ammo from back then

If you can find any of the bulk packs of Browning there is a 20% rebate on it until some time next month. I tried to buy some more, but bulk 9mm ball ammo in my area is gone like the TP.

I just shoot the cheap stuff and clean more often. Cleanest ammo I have run is Sig and Hornday.

Browning sent me samples in 380ACP. 9MM and 45ACP when it first came out several years ago
It has all worked very well. I love the black chrome plated cases, it helps me pick up MY brass
The Personal Defense ammunition is interesting as they put an X in the hollow point of a nickel plated projectile. I doubt that it does anything, but it looks cool and sets them aside from the rest of the crowd
I ran the 9MM (both FMJ & JHP) ammunition through a SIG P226 and a Smith & Wesson Model 559 all with no trouble
Here is my 45ACP snubby Model 25
