Default Age of Cartridge Box

I am looking at buying this Cartridge box. Can anyone tell me it's approximate age?

Thanks for the information. This forum knows everything!

Circa 1910-15. You can see the same box (252) at this website:

Thad sounds about right. Remington merged with UMC in 1912.

This is the example I had in my ammo display. I recently purchased a large ammunition accumulation from an estate and it contained a full box of the same thing that’s a little nicer, so I upgraded. This one will go into reserve. If you don’t mind me asking, what’s the asking price of the box you’re considering?

I got it for $12.95. Just the empty box, no cartridges. It should be delivered in three dyas.

I bought this box from eBay for $12.95 and thought I'd got a good deal. When it arrived it had 6 old .38 S&W cartridges inside. I don't know if they are the same vintage as the box, but it was a nice bonus. They are all head stamped UMC-REM.
