Is there ANY commercial 44 Magnum target SWC ammo?
I have been looking for a clean 240 gr SWC commercial 44 magnum medium load to use for target and plinking? Is there any reputable commercial load like this out there?

Its not exactly what you are looking for but Georgia Arms sells a 240 grain FMJ loaded rated at 1000 fps that is the closest one I know of. The bullet is a truncated cone with a wide, flat tip that cuts a decent hole in paper even though that whole will be a little less than .429 inches. The price is $27/bag of 50 plus shipping with all new components. Georgia Arms doesn't make their own components but all the ammo I have bought from them was high quality.
This is my favorite ammo for my M69. It is strong enough to let you know you are shooting a 44 magnum but not so punishing I want to quit after a cylinder or two like I do with full power ammo.
Unfortunately I just went to the Georgia Arms update website and it is closed down due to overwhelming demand. No idea when it will reopen.

Georgia arms has been coming and going during the covid buying frenzy so check back often. I just bought some 44 mag 240 grain semi wadcutters, 1000 fps, for $25 per 50 last week and now they have none. They said it might be a couple weeks before they ship but 'm in no hurry.

I ordered it on July 7, shipped today, the 13. Suppose to get it on the 15th. Not bad.

Armscore sells a nice 240gr LSWC load. Around $30 a box through AmmoSeek.

Georgia Arms has been closed since I said this. I hope I didn't jinx them.

Here's an affordable round that has been around a long time, but who knows for how much longer. I bought a 500 round case of this yesterday and paid $20 for shipping, making the per box price $29.00 and change.

Oh Yeah ... but don't look for 44 Magnum Target as they are called ...
44 Special ... Lead Semi-Wadcutter will cut nice clean holes in paper targets and tin cans .
