It's sort of complicated, but I have it. The leading letter determines the year and whether it is the first half or the second half of that year. The other letter designates the month. The number is the day of the month. The year letters cycle every 11 years. Winchester's date code is similar but not identical. Sometimes the date code uses other numbers to indicate the loading line.

Show us a head stamp , usually military ammo has the letters indicating where manufactured and two numbers indicating the year of production .
Could be RA - 69 or something like that .
