Need Shotgun ammo
Does anyone have an idea where I can purchase Winchester SuperX 12 gauge #4 buck for a 2 3/4" chamber? Also need Win. 12 gauge 1 oz rifled slug and Federal 1 1/8 oz. rifle slugs. Most suppliers all say unavailable, and Remington seems to be non-existant as well.

SGammo has slugs and 00 buck. they are Remington and they have a minimum total order of $79. I have dealt with them before and was very happy.

I have also bought a lot of ammo from SG, good to deal with and fast.
They do indeed show Remington slugs and buck (OO only) in stock, for $2 a round. Double of normal prices, but we aren't living in normal times lately.
I like #4 Buck as well, and ordered a case of PMC #4 Buck from SG back in the spring. It doesn't pattern as tight as Federal Flite Control, but Flite Control are in a class by themselves.
The PMC is as decent as Remington or Winchester that I've used .
Price then was $130 for 250 rounds.

I ordered 00 Buck and slugs. Hopefully I'll find #4 Buck somewhere. May try Fin, Feather, and Fur in Middleburgh Heights, OH tomorrow.

There was a YouTube video today that showed Fin, Feather, and Fur as having shotgun shells.

A quick look in the ammo locker tells me that I have a ton of #8 target loads in 12-gauge. I must have missed more dove seasons than I can clearly remember!
Slugs, a few.
00-buckshot, 25 rounds, plenty for now.
#6 game loads, enough for 2 or 3 seasons.
#4 field loads, plenty on hand but all lead shot, so limited use these days.
BB-shot, 2-3/4" magnum loads (my favorite for around the house defense), about enough to make anyone sorry they bothered me.
3" magnum loads, none at all. My 12-gauge has a 3" chamber but it is owned by a total wussy-guy. Enough is enough!
Interestingly, I find that I still have about 20 rounds of all brass Winchester 12-gauge 2-1/2" 00-buckshot. I seem to remember that those came with an old Model 1897 Winchester in a trade deal about 40-odd years ago. Interesting to look at and speculate, but I doubt I'll ever fire them.
Edit: A lot of the factory boxes I have still have price tags of $2.47 or $2.89. I suppose the only way to see those prices now is to look in my ammo locker.

I have been able to find all the 12 gauge ammo I wanted. Some from Opticsandammo, SGammo, and Gunbuyer.
Thanks to all who responded to this thread.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.

I saw a fair amount of 00Buck and #4 in both 2 3/4 and 3" at Rural King yesterday. If you have one near better give them a check.

Here in SE Wisconsin, local Walmart’s have a good selection of 12 gauge ammo, several different brands. Local Farm and Fleet stores have a fair amount also. If you look around and don’t mind different brands you should be able to find some. Just scored some 16 gauge slugs ‘hidden’ behind the 12’s last week. Set for a few more deer hunts. Good luck!
