A friend just called to tell me of his old ammo stash, which came from his grand father who used to own a gun shop. New old stock 5mm Rem. (approx. 10 boxes) and the .22 Rem. Jet (quantity unknown), for the S&W Model 53. Hopefully I will end up with it to sell locally. I know Remington only made 2 rifles chambered for the 5mm, along with Thompson Contender barrels, so there couldn't be too much of a demand. On the other hand, good factory ammo is probably scarce. Any one in Georgia have a handle on this stuff?

There is a source of the 5mm from a Mexican mnfg. but the Jet will bring a premium since the newer PPU ammo isn't probably as warm as the original Rem. mnfg Jet ammo.
You could probably get $0.80 to $1 a round for Rem Jet ammo.

Sportsman’s Warehouse usually has 5mm Remington...and 50AE.
