You can Thank Me Later..reasonable ammo!
A FFL buddy of mine just told me about a place in SC. that manufactures & sells ammo direct to the consumer.
I just looked 5 minutes ago..saw 9mm FMJ & .38 Spl. FMJ or all things...looked like 250 rounds for like..$189-$195. plus tax. I think shipping if Free by them.
Wanted to tell All...it is.. Precision ONe Ammunition Manufacturer | New & Remanufactured Ammo
Get it while you can saw like..25 case of .38 & 170 cases of 9mm.
Suppose to be good stuff!

Bookmarked.
Finally found a place with .45ACP FMJ in stock and I can't afford it. Typical.

You call that reasonable ? More like comical.
1K rounds of 9mm is $725.00 .
1K rounds of .38 FMJ is $780.00 .

Unfortunately, considering the current ammo situation, it is reasonable. I've seen FMJ ammo going for $1+/round, $2+/round for JHP.

If you don’t mind commercial reloads Precision Delta has in stock 230 grain FMJ at $115.00 for 250 rounds shipped . A guy I know shoots it and says it’s great ammo .

If these prices don't make someone spring for a reloading setup, I don't know what will!

I've used Precision Delta for unloaded bullets and brass. Quality stuff!

If you have primers and the powder you want, sure. I have a reloading setup but it's been pretty quiet except for .45ACP and .44s b/c I can't find SPPs.

ammoshoponline.com has consistently advertised Norma 115gr FMJ 9mm for $28 for a 50 round box. We all know that's almost 3 times what we paid a year ago but IMHO that ain't too bad. Not everyone has time to get in line at Academy at 7AM and wait to see if they can get their 2 boxes of Blazer Brass for $16 or $18 each.

That will not help because they will need primers. At the price they go for these days it will cost just as much as buying high priced ammo and then reloading equipment cost on top of that.

Whew, I'm just glad I'm sitting on what I consider to be piles of .22, .38, 9mm, .30 Carbine and .308. At the rate I shoot these days I should be good for some time.

Those prices are no bargain, even compared to the going online prices. You can beat those prices just about any day using AmmoSeek.

Looks like they have .44 Magnum for $.80 per round.** Not bad for these days. I just paid $1.20 per round at the LGS and thought that wasn't too bad, all things considered.
** Edit - my bad - when you click on their .44 Magnum, it says "out of stock".

I just tried AmmoSeek and currently the cheapest price on a 50rnd box of .45 ACP FMJ is $39.99 for Wolf Steel Cased Ammo, Precision One's price is $37.99 for a 50rnd box of much higher quality brass cased FMJ.

Still better than prices this weekend at the Big Reno Show. The cheapest I saw for 9mm was $800 per 1000.

Well, that ended badly. Fed Ex damaged my package, so my ammo won't be arriving. Not sure what's going to happen now, a refund or a new shipment made.

Precision One is a good outfit, our Rod And Gun Club has worked with them, snagged some .44 special and some .45 Auto.
For those ammo famine plague days imo their prices are reasonable.
They manufacture in ''batches" so its a good idea to check them often.

When you show me 250 rds. Of .45 for $99 I’ll thank you. For over $200 taxed not a deal.

Well, that sucks! Especially since I JUST (5 min ago) placed an order for 50 rounds of 45acp JHP's that will be shipped Fed Ex.

Just received the 45acp rounds I ordered. They passed inspection and SOME will be fired Monday, during my training class.
The price for the ammo was (IMHO) reasonable, at $49, given the current drought. It was the SHIPPING that really pushed up the price....$15. So I paid $64 for 50 rounds of .45acp. I can live with that since it's a one time purchase that lets me carry jhp's instead of fmj's.

If you do not have the time , or inclination, you can buy it from the old guys that do, for 2-3 times what they paid.

Precision One has done nothing to help me with my damaged package non delivery. I've emailed them but heard nothing back . Never will do business with them again.
Fed Ex is not much better, fair to say they both stink.....

It ain’t that bad. I priced 44 Special ammo just before my Ruger BH in 44 Special came in 7 years ago. It was $44 a box; so I traded for 44 brass, and was set up and reloading for it when it came in. Not bought any factory ammo since other than a couple of boxes of 9mm for the G43 for social purposes only.
