Small pistol primers glued to the heads of .22 pellets and fired at glass pop bottles with a little gasoline in them. I still continue to deny it.

My story of stupid things we kids did, was during WW2 in San Diego there were a lot of Navy pilots training at the North Island Navy Air Station. Often these newbys crashed their airplanes around the back country, leavng opportunities for us kids to salvage .50 cal ammo from the wreckage. We then place these rounds on the street car tracks a short distance from a car stop location and waited for the cars to run over them, resulting in a very large "BANG" , much to our amusement and the anger of the street car drivers. I don't recall any injuries to anyone, but people waiting for the streetcar set some new altitude records for the standing long jump ! Ed

Like I tell everyone else, my life before the age of 40 has been erased in a "data loss." I certainly wouldn't want my "youthful pyrotechnical experiences" discussed in public. Joe
