Shipping Ammunition
Gentlemen,
What would be the best way to ship 125 rounds of .38/.357 ammunition in retail boxes, Nv. to Tx. Two 50 rd and one 25 round boxes. Sending them to a fraternity brother.
Thanks,
Oscar Zulu

UPS Ground. You’ll need to take it to a UPS hub and attach one of the new ORM-D labels to the outer box. It looks like this:
The ammo will need to be in suitable boxes (factory boxes are fine) and you should package them well with adequate filler in a sturdy outer box.
Shipping Ammunition: UPS - United States

I've been shipping daily, and you don't need a sticker if you don't have any. UPS does not supply anything. Just draw what he showed you onto the two sides of the box with a thick marker, or sharpie, and you're good to go! The "Diamond" you draw does not have to be a Michelangelo!

Like Luvsmiths said above pack it well. I would put the ammo boxes and another box or a USPS large envelope and them pack wadded paper or d bubble wrap around the inside box/envelope. Tape the outside box well and on the seams and corners as they will bust it open if they can tossing it all over. By having it in a USPS shipping envelope if they make a hole in the outside box all the rounds will not spill out.

Everything mentioned is great!
The idea of drawing the 'label' on the box might not fly depending on the UPS location you go to.
Find a pic on the internet of the label, print it out a affiix to the box.

Why? LOL.....
She actually told me they never supplied stickers.
A black diamond is a black diamond. Drawn on or stuck on.
