After having read a lot of discussion about sticky cases and split cases in old post,i took my time to weigh all my cartridges in 460 and i found big difference between different lots!
All are Hornady 200gr SST/FTT:
Lot n° xxxx (3x20 ctg): total weigh from 394,2978 gr to 395,8411 gr.
I shot 7 ammo of one of this box,in my SW 5", 3 days ago. All stick to the chambers and one split (along the case); All the pimers were flats after shot.
Lot n° yyyy (20 ctg): total weigh from 393,526gr to 393,6805gr!!!!(i don't shot this one)
Well it means around 2,31gr between 2 lots of ammunition!!???
So can it explain my over pressure sign with this lot n° xxxx ?
I can think there is so much # BETWEEN the bullets or cases weigh?
Should i try to shoot with the yyy lot, to see any #?...before send my gun to the importer?
Tx for you answers.
R.
