Norma vs Fiocchi vs S&B vs Privi Partisan vs Armscor (target ammo)
I shoot 357 magnum, and even though I know I could hand load or reload with a machine I decided it's just not for me and I'd rather continue to shoot ammo from factories that have been in the business of making ammo much longer than I've been alive. So this thread/poll is purely about factory loads not home made, even though I'm sure many of you make your own high quality stuff.
My LGS tends to get only a few brands for 357 magnum which is all I shoot, so unless I go online my choices are usually:
Armscor (Solid and what my LGS usually has)
Norma (Solid)
S&B (my favorite but hardly comes around)
Fiocchi (sometimes)
Privi Partizan (Rare Occasion in bulk)
Other than that it's odd few boxes of what people trade in or that he gets from somewhere. Even got some S&W ammo they don't even make anymore one time which was cool.

I’ve never been disappointed with any sort of Norma ammo.
I view the other manufactures you’ve listed as interchangeable bulk ammo: nothing wrong with it as range ammo, but nothing great about it either.

I'm with you on that for plinking. For .357, their jacketed 158gr truncated cone performs best in my revolvers, and Rossi lever rifle.

Fiocchi - A+
S&B - A+
Privi Partisan - A- to B+, imo.
No experience with Armscor.

Never shot Armscor, but the other 4 yes.
Not in .357, but in .38 Spl, .45ACP, 9mm, 40 S&W, .380ACP, 9mm Makarov, 7.62x25 Tokarev, 5.56mm, 7.62x39 across the 4 other brands.
No issues whatsoever.

Lots of shooting with NORMA in .380, 9mm and .22LR. No complaints. If you go on their website they have lots of buy one get one deals and free shipping over $49. Their “ Range Carry Bungle” is hard to beat. 100 rds target and 20 rds carry ammo discounted in package deal.

My 686 just loves the stuff. I would really like to try their hollow points but can never find them

When WalMart carried it, my Go-To was Federal Champion maroon box. Since all the WalMarts around me stopped carrying 'Non-Hunting' ammo, my Go-To has been Norma for .22, 9mm, .38 and .357.
Very well made and very reliable.
As mentioned, Norma online always has some good deals going and their prices are ALMOST Pre-DemPanic prices. Most times, their 'Free Shipping' goal is $150, but heck, 5 or 6 boxes of any centerfire ammo will get you there.
I just did a Buy 1 box of jacketed .22 get 1 box of RLN (tac) .22

My first center fire revolver was a 28-2 back in the 70s. With the gun I purchased a box of Norma .357s with 158 grain soft points. Still have the brass from that box which have reloaded more times than I can count. Great brass.
