Well that aint no deal.
I was buying silver bear for $119 and golden bear for $139 for 500 rounds a couple months ago.
Now, silver bear might be $150, but still that is only $6.00 bucks a box of 20. Wolf which is dirtier and Barnaul in general is about $6 a box still.
You may have to backorder from cabelas but it will come in about a month at most.

That same ammo is available at a local store for 8.99 a box regular price.
Big 5 always amazed me on ammo prices. thier sale prices are always higher than normal prices elsewhere, and there regular prices are rediculous.
They do have the best deals on shoes though.

I don't have anything in 223 but I just saw the ad so I thought I would pass it along. I hear about ammo shortages around the country but have not seen this problem around here. I have seen ammo cheaper but it is usually mail order and the shipping makes it less attractive.
Thanks
Troy

Is Silver Bear or Brown Bear reloadable?
PMC definitely is, as is REM UMC.
I hate to see $10 boxes of .223 but if there is an opportunity for someone to get just a few boxes when it doesn't make good financial sense to order four boxes online then Troystat did someone a favor.

Silver and Brown bear are berdan primed so unless you have a cheap source for those primers adn the right tools they are not what would be considered reloadable by normal standards.
