I just ordered a bunch of the Buffalo Bore .38 cal. standard (non + P) 125 gr. Gold Dot ammo. My plan is to use it instead of Fed H.S. 129 +P since according to B.B.'s data, it has about 25% more M.E. through a 4 inch barrel (322 vs 258). Therefore, it should also have more energy through shorter barrels as well. Is there any test data or experience with this load; penetration, expansion? What kind of point of impact does it have? Thoughts, input would be appreciated,
