A while back I won a set of Roper Style Herretts from a VM Karma. I figured I would do Skeeter proud by putting them on my 5" Model 27 4 Screw. I do have the orginal numbered Magnas, but I prefer the target grips.

A big shoutout to VM, don't they look great?!?

OH Momma, those are pretty. VM musta done his magic on those, I never saw a set of Herret's that nice.

That is outstanding wood! Do you happen to know the age of the stocks, just wondering if they might be early ones. The five inch 27 is nice also, I have an unfired five inch 27-2 that I really need to shoot. Your combo is a really nice looking package. Thanks for showing.

Keith - the grips were given to me from another Forum member. I did some slight repairs and then refinished them. I have seen some similar Herretts with exhibition grade wood examples. If I had to guess, I'd say they were from the 1980-90's.

Great 5" Model 27!

Those grips are drop-dead beauties. And of course the Smith is too.
Thanks for posting the pics.
