How to remove tint from windows.

Wife's explorer has tint and it's nasty.I'd like to get rid of it but don't know what to use.Any ideas?

Try to find a spot that is loose and dry and pull it away from the window at an angle, keeping constant pressure. This makes it easier to get it off in more or less one big sheet. The residue will be left, but there are products on the market that will dissolve the glue, it just takes time.
 
Plus one on the razor blade. I've removed tint before and it worked the best. Just don't cut yourself.
 
If you have a rear window defroster in your Expedition,
don't use a razor blade.
You may damage the imbedded wires in the rear window.
Just a thought.
