Trigger Change on M27s

Can someone who knows more about this than me (I suspect that's most of the people on this forum - lol) give me a date or serial # range when Smith quit installing the narrow, serrated trigger in the M27 and went to the wide Target Trigger (and hammer too I guess)?

It was available as an option for a long time. I think the long barrel models might be more likely to have the target trigger, and they all got it (even the 3.5 versions which is slightly silly but not as much as the target stocks they also put on them) starting around 1974 or 1975.
