Can someone please tell me the approximate date my smith-wesson revolver was made. It is a 5 screw, it has a 5 inch barrel & a blue finish. I think it is in very good shape with a small amount of blue ware. I do not know how to put pictures on the computor or I would send a picture. Also can anyone tell me the dates models 15-2 & a model 64-2 were made. Thanks, pattym

You need to tell us the serial number off the butt of the gun. For your own protection you can X out the last couple digits.
15-2 was made from 1961 to 1967.
64-2 not sure.

I have it at early 1953. The 64-2, 1977 to 1988.
