looking for 648 info

looking at a 648 no dash at a local shop. cant find a lot on here. no box or papers, gun has a few scratches but seems pretty good. 6 shot steel cylinder. any idea on value of this particular gun?

Thinkin' it should be $500 tops. 22 mag is a hard hittin' round compared to 22LR. Ammo is pricey, though. Earlier blue steel M48s are notorious for stuck spent cases, don't know if stainless model is clearanced any different to avoid such probs.

I have a model 48 that I have shot quite a bit and have never had a stuck case. I have heard that the early models had this problem, but after the dash 2 models, it seemed to have been fixed. I have had powder build up under the extractor star on a regular basis though.

I looked for one for a long time. Found one about a year ago for 550.00.
Saw one go for 600.00 not too long ago.
