Name those guns...

Went to the natural history museum today with the kids...in the bird dispay was a shotgun and this pistol..I imagine it is some kind of smooth bore shotgun pistol...

The second looks like some kind of Sharps of carbine....

I also found this display pretty cool...seen a lot of shows on the history channel and such but never saw this method of laying track...pretty ingenious...

The lever action kind of looks like a Spencer.

Yeep bottom one is a Spencer repeater. Pretty neat concept. Kind of like a Mare's Leg. The Spencer has a tube magazine in the butt stock.

The top one I would guess is a Stevens pistol. Some had detachable stocks for those long barrels.

Model of the work train is the Chinese building the trans continental RR over the Sierra Nevada's. Tough going thru all that granite. They had to use black powder as dynamite hadn't been invented yet. Very dangerous & a lot of them went back to China in a vase.
