I purchased an exceptionally nice 66-5 snub nose from a friend and it came with the original S&W rubber grips and a set of Uncle Mike's rubber grips. Both are too narrow for my palm and I am wondering if there is a rubber-type grip that is known to be wider than average? I am not talking about palm-swell grips per se so much as a grip that is wider across the entire width of the grip.

I have had a few trade offers for the gun so I don't want to go into the more expensive broader wood grips at this time. I would simply like to have a better fitting grip to see if I like shooting the gun enough to keep it.

Thanks for any advice

They make Pachmayr Grippers for the round butt K frame and they are larger than the Uncle Mike finger groove rubber grips for the round butt K frame.

66-5 Grips

That's a surprise to me. I have always thot of Pachmayrs as thin from side-to-side, but I have been out of shooting for a long time.
I will look for some of what you recommend.

Thanks very much.
