Got my new SW1911 today

I went and purchased my 1911 today and all I have to say is WOW! This gun is awesome! I put 50rds through it and was pretty accurate at 7yds(Considering it was only my second time shooting a .45) all my shots were withing 3-4 inches.

The only thing I did not like was the PMC ammo that I used. It is what they had at the range. After every 8rds the entire front of the gun was black.

I also got another "toy" while I was there...a GSG 1911 .22

Nice score. I've been eyeballing a SW1911 demo at my local gun range but haven't pulled the trigger just yet (pun intended). I can't say for certain, but I think it is going for $850 +/- out the door. Did you get a fair deal?

I think the $850 may be too much for a demo gun. Which particular 1911 is it?

Nice gun! BTW, I don't much care for the PMC ammo either, but fact is nearly all ammo will turn the muzzle end of that stainless gun black. Piece of cake to clean, so don't worry about it.
