Holster for a 1066

I am a new member and this is a first post. This week I was the final bidder for a 1066 on gunbroker. Can someone point me in the right direction for a quality holster and mag pouch? Thanks in advance.

Welcome!

Are you wanting a basic holster for concealed carry or just a holster for range and open carry?
 
I have a Cozy Partner for my 1086 which is similiar in size to your 1066. I couldnt find one that was specifically made for the 1086 though. I found that holsters made for Sig's fit very well. I believe mine was for a P226...

If you are wanting an open-top holster, those made for the 4566/4586 will fit. In fact, holsters for the 4506 will fit if you do not mind the holster being 3/4" longer than it needs to be.
 
A lot of the holster manufacturers have a method to search for a holster for a specific model.
Bianchi Gun Holsters
Fore instance the above link is from Bianchi's web site. I find these useful, because even if you don't by a bianchi, it can tell you, in general, which other makes and models typically share a holster size with the gun you are looking for.

I bought a Blade-Tech paddle hoster for a 4566(same size as 1066). The holster is great. I went hiking last weekend and carried the gun, holster combination. I didn't notice the weight of the gun all day long. For mag carriers all of my 1911 mag carriers hold the 1066 mags perfectly.
 
Thanks everyone for replying, I am looking or an open range holster as I have others for CCW. I will also be looking for extra mags, maybe a new set of grips and anything else you think I should consider would be appreciated.
 
I have a 1066 I carry in a Galco Avenger for the Sig 226. Fits like a glove.
