Don't even think of laughing at his guard dog qualities. The Romans used to use them as camp guards. I brought two back from Germany and I can assure you no one would consider breaking in our house.
I had one like that back in the late 1960's and early 1970's, her name was Penny, she was one of the best dog's I ever had. I still miss her over 30 years later. Enjoy, you picked a real winner.
