Pachmayr grip adapter quick question......

I have a Pachmayr grip adapter on my Model 60, I can get a pic up tomorrow but my camera battery is dead right now.....

Anyway, the adapter does not sit "flush" to the bottom of the front of the grip frame, near the strain screw, in other words, the edge is out a little from the metal. Is this normal or is my adapter warped? It kind of irks me, maybe I'm being too anal about it!

if yours is broken, then so are all of mine....look at all the pics posted here that show different T grips, they all have a gap at the bottom

I recently got a S&W marked plastic grip adapter for my M28 and noticed the same thing. My fix was putting a fat strong rubber band around the whole grip, near the bottom, which pulled the lower end of the adapter flush to the frame. I kept the rubber band on for about a week in the safe and now the adapter fits properly on the gun. Of course this won't work with a metal adapter but may be worth trying if yours is plastic/rubber.

I have the rubber one, I'll get a pic up later tonight.

I could put a Tyler grip on it, but I like the basic, "businesslike" look of the Pachmayr rubber adapter, makes the 60 look like a no-nonsense working gun, like an 80's police detective would have carried
