What AR stuff fits the 15-22 ??

I'm very new here on this forum. But, in the short time I've been reading ... the information has been very informative. Thanx to all that help us all. I appreciate the assistance.

I'm in the process of modding my 15-22. Some farkles are in the mail and should be here soon. But, I wonder .... ?

I'm sure this is such a "noob" question ... but, I wonder what how much of the accessories that are found on the AR sites fit our 15-22s ??

Stuff like rails, optics, grips, lasers and such .... I know this sounds so juvy, but, heck ... I'm new here !

Pretty much anything that bolts on to the outside of the gun will work fine. Standard AR (mil-spec) stocks, most AR grips (hogue!), standard AR trigger groups, etc.. all work fine. There are some things that are different. Charging handles and extended latches are different for example. Poke around the pictures thread for a while and you'll get a good feel for what works and what doesn't.

Anything that attaches to a rail is interchangeable: optics, lasers, lights, VFG/AFG's,iron sights, carry handle etc...Any rear stock that is made to fit on a mil-spec buffer tube will fit. Any pistol grip made for an AR will fit on the 15-22. If you buy a special free-float adaptor, you can run any fore-end/quad rail that would fit on an AR. If you have a threaded barrel, any supressor or flash hider/comp that would fit on an AR will fit on your 15-22. Sling setups made for AR's will work with 15-22 with proper adaptors. Magpul BAD lever works on 15-22. Thats all I can think of off the top of my head.

Anyone know of a check piece that will fit the stock that comes on the 15-22?

Command Arms has a nice cheek riser, and it comes in various heights as well. Normaly about 15-18 dollars for the 3/4 inch riser. Pretty good over all. Used it on my 15 22 with great results since I had a higher up scope(8-32x 50), and then gave it to a friend after I changed stocks to the MOE version, and replaced my scope with a Eotech 552.. It can be bought in black, FDE, of OD. Here is a link.
