I'm amazed that so many think that Hoppe's No.9 is the end-all and be-all of gun care. Like it is all you'll ever need...Never use the stuff, myself.....;)

I do use.....

Ballistrol
Rig
Moose Milk
WD-40 (new formulation)
Isopropy Alcohol....

And many more....:) Care to add to the list?...........

Really have to laugh out loud about the folks that are afraid of water on their guns.... They should see me clean a Black powder revolver. It would make their heads spin....:D

Home made, ED's Red I add 1 part Synthetic 30W oil to the mix.

Eezox= Best long term rust prevention around.

Find Myself using more Rem Oil lately.

DuPont Silicon and Teflon spray for magazines (did a rust test with it and it prevents rust for weeks in salt air on ferrous metals)

Moose milk?!?!? I haven't heard those words since when Ronaldus Magnus was in office, and I would spend some time with a Pennsylvania Longrifle, after the range. we parted ways, when I drove to my new location out of state, in a car too snall for the rifle to fit in the trunk.

Today, its Ballistol, period.

I clean my guns frequently and very lightly and use LSA, or that military oil that comes in the little OD green can. never had a rust problem, but then again they don't sit around long enough to rust anyways. On my Mossberg 500 pump shot gun I use graphite on most of the internals and a light coating of LSA on the outside which is camo but missing some of the paint in places. I do use a light coat of LSA on the internals in the summer though.
Merry Christmas,
gordon

Hoppes #9, Mobil 1, Diesel fuel, and Johnsons Paste Wax.
None of this stuff is very expensive...some people pay more for gun oil than good Scotch Whisky.

For basic cleaning I use Ed's Red. For copper fouling I make a small 50/50 batch of janitorial strength 10% ammonia and Ed's Red. I use a 50/50 mix of Bore Butter and bee's wax for long term storage.

Renaissance Wax and Johnson's Paste wax
Sweets 7.62 copper solvent
I have always like G-96 Gun Treatment cuz it smells good
Hot soapy water for BP guns and brass (BPCR)
Superlube over Rig
Break Free
I use a dab of Hoppes #9 behind my ear when I go juking
Old English scratch remover
there is probably a few I am missing

You know I thought I had seen everything until I saw the #9 air freshener at the gun shop. I would have bought one too but they were $4.00...I'll make my own

Renaissance Wax for preservation of outside...

A homemade version of T/C's bore butter for insides- even for all nitro guns.

Oil or Rig +P lube for...lubrication of working pieces, and Hoppes 9 or whatever solvent I can scrounge up cheap or free for cleaning nitro- soap and water when needed on any piece.

Scott's Liquid Gold for wood- the most overlooked piece on the gun- it won't hurt any finish.
