Several of you guys asked me to find a video with my Hungarian acquaintance, Dr. Mathilde Egyed, singing in English. You recall her Hungarian version of "Silent Night" from over the holidays...

Well, hit that link, but you'll have to raise your main volume control to hear well.

I asked why she has trouble with volume, and she said that she doesn't know how to make it louder with her equipment.
We have a mutual acquaintance in Budapest who also makes videos. I'll see if the other girl can help.

Sorry that I couldn't do better, but Mathilde says that she is shy about singing in English, so seldom does it. Her written English is imperfect, but always ample to understand her.

I hope that those who asked like Disney videos...

Hey, T-Star,

LOVELY voice!! Many thanks for sharing your friend's talents with us. I'm Texan by birth, but have Hungarian Grandparents, who always spoke English with a heavy accent. Thanks, again, for sharing this, and please compliment your friend on her lovely voice! Take care, and God Bless!

Every Good Wish,
Doc

Your friend has a beautiful gift. I must say I liked her "Silent Night" better though. Please convey my thanks and admiration.

Here's, "Silent Night" again, for those who missed it.
The video was filmed at her parents' home, and she and others in the family made many of the decorations.

Best,

Thanks.I sure enjoyed both.Your friend has a beautiful voice and she could "Quit her Day Job".
I think she's gaining some more fans here in the forum.
Tell her not to be worried about her English because its probably worse here than hers.
Thanks again.

Thank you so much! I'm going to e-mail Mathilde soon, and will tell her of your comment. She'll love it! She lacks confidence in English.

She is an attorney (JD diploma), but enjoys singing on the side. So far, she hasn't been able to "quit the day job", but has auditioned to dub Disney videos/movies there.
