I picked up a used (1998) S&W 60-9, 2 1/8", pre-lock in excellent condition (actually, new condition) with original box, all paperwork and the original Master lock still wrapped up and sealed. The former owner is a good friend of mine from the gun club that we both belong to. He put 3 boxes of ammo through it when new, carried it for a while and then put it away. He and his wife both recently joined the same CCW/CPL "practice" class that I am in and she put another three boxes of target ammo through it. She decided that it doesn't work for her and asked if I would be interested in buying it. How much?, I ask. They thought about it and came up with $400 for the gun, a brand new Galco Fletch holster, brand new Galco Yaqui holster, two brand new HKS speed loaders, snap caps and a box and a half of 38's.

Yep, livinn' right pays off again.

Congratulations on a fine weapon purchase.
It sounds like both parties are satisfied.

I do not have that particular -number 60, but
I have become very fond of the J's.

Y'all must be living right. That is a good price. Congratulations on having such a set of good friends. And, congrats on the -9.....

Good job,the -9 is the last of the pre-lock 60 snubbies.

I have a 60-12 that is pre lock.
