629 (no -) value question.

I have a line on a 6" 629 (no-) "as new" with the matching box and goodies. The seller doesn't know how to send photos by email so he going to have his son take some tonight and send them along to me.

I think I can buy this gun for around $800 all in. How would you guys rate that price on a gun like the one I've described?

If I get some good photos I'll post them for you guy to have a look.

Half the time these thing turn out to be a wild goose chase but every now and then one of these works out.

$800 is a fair price if its like new and includes all the items you say. Only if its a no dash though!

Why is the (no -) so important? Just simply more collectible?

What can you tell from this? No "dash"? There are more on the way.

So far your pics aren't showing up.

Make sure the presentation case has the gun pointing to the right. If not, it isn't original to the gun.
Your case should look exactly like this one for a 6" gun.

And the gun should look just like this one-

That's the problem. It's a dash 1. He didn't know what he had.
Now he understands the difference.

Based on your original description and now knowing it is a dash one - I'd be all over it for $600 or less
