I have a 4" model 24-3. The cylinder looks like it has been reblued. It has a thicker looking blue with the locking mechanism where the cylinder line goes through looks to almost be whollered out. The rest of the gun is at least 95%. I was thinking about replacing the cylinder. Will a model 24-3 cylinder be the only compatible cylinder for a replacement part?
