If I am doing this properly, I am attaching a lot of pictures of my brand new 22/32 kit gun serial number 246xx. It looks like it is in great condition! I will have more pictures to post in a separately.

Last pictures. The worst looking part of the gun is the picture of near the firing pin.

Very nice. It is probably a 1956-'7ish gun. Opening and closing the cylinder causes the scrapes in your photo of the recoil shield, so unless it was literally never used every S & W revolver will have them. Enjoy!

I figured those scrapes were normal since my 2009 442-2 has them from my use, and I am the only owner of that gun.

I dry fired the gun twice as I was looking at the gun with the hammer cocked. I pulled the trigger and lowered the hammer down slowly. Cylinder doesn't look damaged, but won't know about the firing pin until I take the gun out to the range. Hopefully I didn't damage the gun at all.

Now I have to get some ammo.

442js,

I'd say it's a Keeper!!! Super Nice Little Kit-Gun!! From what I see it looks to have seen Very,Very Little Use!! The markings on the Recoil Shield could be there even if it was never fired. Quite a Score for $400!!

Take Care!!
