Wanted to know if a barrel from a 64-3 will fit a 64-5 or a 64-6 ? I like 3in guns but only have 4in. I was thinking of having one of my 64s re-barreled.

S&W had the same part number for the Model 64 barrel at least a far up as the 64-6, so the barrel should fit.
Have it done by someone who knows what he's doing. S&W will do it right for a competitive price.

The barrel will fit and if you don't know a good Smith, then have the factory do it for you.
