I was 100% hell bent set on getting a 627 PC from my local shop. I even went as far as telling the shop owner to get one in stock and I would give him the down payment as soon as he had one in. Now I am 50/50 on the 627. The other model.... the 686 SSR.
This is what Im looking at.
The 627 PC.... Its a Performance Center, and I believe their QC is better. It has a 5" barrel as well and the gold bead front sight....
Both guns have the forged hammers and triggers.
There is a price difference of about $250, in favor of the 686 SSR Obviously. So if anyone out there owns both of them I would love to hear some opinions, views on both. From the reviews I have read, it doesnt seem I can go wrong with either. But as nothing more than a casual shooter, Id love to get into some competition shooting locally. So I ask anyone reading this to take that into mind as well.
