This S&W sickness MAY be becoming an issue. I drove over 200 miles ONE WAY this weekend to do a ftf deal with a Forum member on a nice little Model 63 .22. Do I need help; rehabilitation, or anything like that? I've wanted a small .22 kit gun for a while now, but come on! Starting to worry about myself; maybe a twelve step program is in order. On the upside, the gun is nice, enjoyed meeting 681ismyfavorite, and the road trip was a lot of fun. Just wondered if y'all might think I need to be checked out. :)

Nope. Sounds like you're doing just fine!

Did you visit any guns stores along the way? If you did not, then there is still a chance for you. Slim chance, but a chance.

Yes, you have a problem!

200 miles and you didn't stop at a gunshop anywhere?! There HAD to have been at least one along the way. You gotta at least stop and see the sights :D

Seems like completely normal behavior to me. Now if you refused to do that trip, that would be a problem.

Enjoy,

What's your point, I drove 150 miles round trip to not buy a gun. Are you implying I have an issue? Who are you to lecture.....:D

Well worth the time and trouble.....but since I already have one, Hell Yeah, totally worth it!!! No, you don't have a problem. You are among compadres!

Did you really think anyone on this board would think a 400 mile round trip to buy a gun is some kind of behavioral problem? 400 miles is a tank of gas. That's less money than shipping + transfer fee, and you get to meet a fellow forum member and swap tall tales. :) Works for me.

Doesn't sound like a problem to me. I'd do it for the right shotgun and probably spend a couple few thousand in the process.

re: "maybe a twelve step program is in order."

yes it indeed is....fortunately you've take the FIRST step.....now, about them other 11 revolvers....

would it make you feel better if the miles were only 100?
i have driven on a few occasions to the s&w store here in mass which is about 100 miles from where i live. i just call it getting what you want
