1934 vintage 38/44 Outdoorsman with a 6.5" barrel. Got it a local auction Friday nite. Purty fair price and it ain't quite wore out yet.

Makes a pretty fair match with the little K-22 I did that hunkerin' for back a while ago.

OK, you get a five-day gloating indulgence for that one. One of S&W's best revolver models in really good shape. Can't beat that with a stick.

And I bet you can reach WAAAYYY out there with that one and be pretty confident of hitting what you are aiming at. There's a reason why S&W marketed the OD models as premier target revolvers.

Like the old cowboy prognasticator said "Nice Pair". Well done!!!

Dang, I thought my $300 bid was going to hold up :). That's a very nice pre-war OD and you got it at a bargain. I wonder if it has any interesting Wyoming history. Congrats.

and not one of the ones with a keylock too, good going man!

I saw you had a pre-auction bid in on it, but when the internet quit biddin' I went to work. I was still really surprised I got it.:)

I'm thinkin' this is one you might want to get a letter on. Never know what kind of interesting history might show up. 'Course, if you decide you really don't want that ol' worn out hunk of iron after all, you know where to find me!

Iggy, great looking OD. Load her up with some light target 38's and is like shooting a 22 with all that weight and you'll never wear her out. One of my favorite guns at the range.
