Jumped on this super clean later model dash 2.
Wanted to grab one before the prices get over the top.

No box and common gun so I will enjoy and shot this one.

Pretty clean example there. Light usage. Very nice case hardening on the hammer and trigger. Solid 28. You did well.

Really nice. Can't beat those M28-2's, and you are correct, the prices are headed over the top.

Looks to be in fantastic condition. Great revolvers them 28's are. Prices seem to be on the rise again which is a good thing for us S&W lovers/owners.

Congrats on that classic. Bet it shoots great.

Help me out, someone - what changes took place from the -2 to the -3?

28-3 started in 1982 and the counterbore and pinned barrel were eliminated. Slight cylinder length was changed I quess do to the non counter bore.

Beautiful gun, and it will be a fantastic shooter.

"Before the Prices Get Over the Top"
I was told on this very website that prices are bound to drop like a rock in the very near future.

To be polite, I will just say "Opinions differ on that point." :D :D

That one appears to be in fine shape. I think you made the correct decision. 28-2's are addicting however. This one will not be your last. Believe me.......I know.
