Sure, it's "just" a Model 10 - Smith has made more of these M&P revolvers than anything else. All the same, finding one in virtually untouched condition in the original box with all the papers and the cleaning rod - well, my heart took a leap, and I took it home. This Model 10-5 shipped out in December, 1977, making it nearly 34 years old now. Still as good as new! I thought I'd show it off for you.

Congratulations on the sweet buy as I picked up a similar conditon blued one with 4 inch barrel for $375 a few months ago and they are rare indeed in that condition.

Well, I'd love if IF I ever found one like that. Hasn't happened to me yet.

That is beautiful. Congrats.

Paladin, I will send my buddy's FFL and shipping instructions any time you think of selling this beauty! Kyle

You can never have too many Model 10's...:D

Basic, simple, clean lines and most of all reliable.

Wow, that is Nice ! That's the kind of gun I would pay strong money for , well above what most others think it's worth.
Guns like that just do not come around that often .
Any 70's vintage snub nosed J or K frame revolver, new in the box ,
is a great find.

WOW! That is a time capsule. Imagine a day when a trip to the LGS was nothing but beauties like that and the semi's were the odd ones.

Thanks for taunting me with that beauty - keep looking boys our day will come!

That is a nice one! Anytime you find any model S&W in the box in that condition, you have scored !
