You're going to love it!! The 6 1/2 was my choice as a "working 500" too.... Don't know if you're into reloading or not but if not you may want to give it some thought. Don't forget to wear good ear protection as they have a loud bark...

Great gun!! My 500 was the first revolver I every bought. I have around 1000 rounds through it, from 300gr up to 700gr. It's a hoot to shoot and to let others shoot. It's the reason I got into reloading!!

I like my 500's, and my 6 1/2" is my favorite as well.

I picked up my new SW 500 today. Picture below. It's the 5th handgun I have purchased since December. Can't wait to shoot this cannon
