Model 41/22 grips

I am surprised you are having problems with the grips on your 41 as neither of mine M41 or M46 have ever had any problems this way at all. Maybe you could try reaming the area out a wee bit more surrounding it but these grips are worth a good buck and it would seem a shame to ruin a good pair of grips.

I have Herrett's "Flat Housing Trainer" grips on mine. I got them here:

They are intended to mimic the grip of a 1911 pistol. I absolutely love them. As you can see, the magazine release is totally exposed. I recommend them highly.

Yes, I use my 41 for steel and it is fantastic. I currently have a C-More RTS sight on it.
